T -- PRODUCTION OF FOOD STAMP COUPON BOOKS SOL FNS 99-001JIB POC Jorge Bernardo and Tonia Bloss, Contract Specialists, or Elaine Lynn, Contracting Officer 703-305-2250 The USDA, Food and Nutrition Service is seeking contractor assistance to manufacture food stamp coupons in six book types which include: $2, $7, $10, $40, $50, and $65. These books contain various quantities of $1, $5, and $10 food coupons. This is a multi-year contract with a five year period of performance (October 1, 1998 through September 30, 2003). The food stamp coupons shall be printed using the Intaglio method (steel engraved plates) only, numbered by the typographic process, rouletted or perforated, and collated into books. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 11, 1998 and will close approximately 45 days thereafter. Award will be made on or about September 30, 1998. All requests for the RFP/solicitation package must be in writing and must include four (4) self-addressed mailing labels.
