B -- SUPPORT FOR INTEGRATED TRAINING AREA MANAGEMENT (ITAM) DA PAMPHLET 350-4 The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to negotiate with Shirnia and Dowell for the following services which requires the contractor to coordinate with the points of contact assigned by the U.S. Army Environmental Center, facilitate workshops, and develop the draft version of the Department of the Army Pamphlet 350-4 for distribution at the Intergrated Training Area Management (ITAM) 1998 workshop. Product development will include workshop faciliation, technical writing and editing, publication support and project management. The objectives of the ITAM Program are as follows: to achieve optimal and sustained use of training lands; to implement a management and decision-making process that integrates Army training and other mission requirements for land use with sound natural resource management; and to encourage proactive conservation and land management practices. All responsible sources may submit a proposal identifying their capability to respond to this requirement by May 1, 1998 which shall be considered by this agency.
