SPAWARSYSCEN, Charleston intends to negotiate a sole source contract in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 with Quanta Systems Corporation, 213 Parkway, Gaithersburg, MD 20877-2145. The purpose of the contract is to provide Electronic Systems Engineering and Integration Support for ongoing Navy Regionalization efforts. This action is a continuation and extension of services currently being performed by Quanta Systems Corporation. The proposed contract requires highly specialized knowledge, experience and highly qualified, trained personnel in the use of Derived Channel Access technology. The proposed contract will be for a base year and will contain provisions for four option years. Note 22 applies. All qualified responsible sources may submit and offer which shall be considered by this agency. (0114)
