This procurement involves fostering sustainable communities by providing advice, information, and financial support to local elected officials and their communities. This effort will support the Joint Center for Sustainable Communities (JCSC) which is a collaborative project of the National Association of Counties (NACO) and the U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM), with NACO serving as the primary coordinating organization. The objectives will be accomplished through leadership training, technical assistance, funding for demonstration projects, public education programs, and a review and identification of sustainable and unsustainable public policies.
