for commercial parts prepared in accordance with the format in FAR
subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in
the notice. A written solicitation will be issued upon request. This is
a request for quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-98-Q-AWL039. This
solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are
in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. The standard
industrial classification code is 3531 and the size standard is 750
employees. The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide
TWO (2 EACH) top reeved winches, one left hand and one right hand, as
well as two (2 each) flag block assemblies for use as the forward
cross deck winch system on USCGC Willow. The government will award a
contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror
whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to
the government, price and other factors considered. The following
factors shall be usedto evaluate offer: Price, Required Delivery Date.
