The work of this project will consist of the construction of a composting toilet facility at a remote site in Grand Canyon National Park. This facility will consist of one building with three toilet stalls and three composting units. The facility will be located at the Roaring Springs Day Use Area on the North Kaibab Trail. Roaring Springs is located approximately 4.5 miles down the North Kaibab Trail from the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. The trailhead is located approximately 45 miles south of Jacob Lake, Arizona on State Route 67. Grand Canyon National Park welcomes and encourages small, small disadvantaged and women-owned business concerns to participate.
