The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire Instructor and Curriculum Development Services through full and open competition. The successful offeror shall be required to perform curriculum maintenance, test and evaluation, ICW development, curriculum development, and instruction of the following courses: Diesel Engine Mod 1, Diesel Engine Mod 3, Diesel Engine MCM, Diesel ARS50, Diesel CORE, Diesel LSD-41, General Maintenance Welder, Non Nuclear Welder, Heat Treatment of Metals, Advanced Milling, Precision Grinding, CNC, Heavy Machinery Metal, SITES, ILARTS, Engineering Electrical CORE, Gunners Mate "A", Advanced Electronic CORE, FAST, JOBS Strand 1, JOBS Strand 5, JOBS Strand 6, JOBS Strand IVB, JOBS Strand 2, Instructor Training, TBCD, and TMDS. It is noted that the applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) for this requirement is 8249. The Instructor and Curriculum Development Services are required in support of Service School Command, Great Lakes and Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes and will be conducted on-site at Government facilities located in Great Lakes, IL. The period of performance is 1 October 1998 through 30 September 1999, plus four (4) one (1) year option periods. A Firm Fixed Price/Labor Hour type contract is contemplated.
