This is a "Sources Sought Notice" issued by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) for the purpose of gathering possible sources of supply for training frame used to instruct students in proactive approach to driving strategies and advanced skid training. Frames, with four 360 degree swivel outrigger wheels, attach to suspension system of 1991-96 Chevrolet Caprice Classic 4-door sedan and 1991-98 Ford Crown Victoria 4-door sedan police package vehicles. Frame allows suspension of vehicle to permit student to experience weight transfers during driving maneuvers, must raise and lower front and rear wheels of police vehicles via hydraulic system remotely controlled by instructor in the mounted vehicle, and then return to outrigger wheel preset locations. Frame must be capable of accommodating police vehicles with minimum amount of mechanical work and perform its functions at speeds as low as 6-8 MPH. Spare parts kit must be included and instructor training/certification for FLETC instructors and vehicle installation shall be included in any proposed system, FOB: GLYNCO, GEORGIA.
