This project consists of constructing a wooden deck with handrails, approximately 25 ft. x 27 ft., to be used as a viewing platform for pedestrian traffic. Margaret Creek is located at the end of the Margaret Creek Fish Pass trail, in Margaret Bay on Revilla Island approximately 20 miles from Ketchikan, Alaska. Access to Margaret Bay from Ketchikan is by small plane or boat. Access to the Fish Pass trail from the Margaret Bay dock is along approximately 1-1/2 miles of logging road. The project site is at the end of the Fish Pass trail, approximately 1/4 mile long. The trail is boardwalk, 2 feet wide with steps, and is suitable for foot traffic only. Contract time is 90 calendar days. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Simplified Acquisition Procedures apply to this project.
