Q -- COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL SERVICES SOL RFP-279-0000 POC Jim Cooper, 925-803-2775 (fax 925-803-2782) The Federal Bureau of Prisons is preparing to solicit for a comprehensive medical services contract for its institutions located in Lompoc, California. The total inmate population is approximately 3,000. The resulting contract will be for a base year and four one-year option periods. Comprehensive medical services include inpatient and outpatient hospital services, inpatient and outpatient physicians services, and outpatient institution services. We would like to award a single contract to include all these services. We would also like the contract to include comprehensive billing for all services, including physician. We intend to do extensive market research to ensure the solicitation will be structured in an organized, logical manner to allow for even-playing-field competitive pricing.
