described at 5.207 for items 1-16. Item 17, Description This is a
combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in
accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. This announcement
consitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a
written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is
JFKC01-98-Q-FM007. The solicitation is issued as a request for
quotation(RFQ). The solicitation document incorporates provisions and
clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 79-30. This is
a Small Business set-aside. The associated standard industrial
classification codes is 175 and small business size standard is $7.0m.
Contract line item number 0001: Extraction of old carpeting and
padding, priced per sq yd. 0002: Installation of new carpet and
padding. 0003: Installaltion of new carpet and padding. Carpet shall be
provided by the government, price per sq. yd. 0004 Carpet (no padding)
direct glue method. 0005: Repair of carpet price per sq yd as needed
IAW the statement of work labor price per hour. 0006: Installation of
carpet on the 1st and 2nd tier Lobbies of the Concert Hall. Offeror
shall project basis year for each option year. Contract period is a six
month base contract, with 4 one year options, from 01 Oct through 30
September 2002. Description of requirements for the items to be
acquired: Performance is at the John F Kennedy for Performing Arts,
2700 F Street,NW Washington, DC 20566 as authorized by the Contracting
Officer's Representative(COR). Place of delivery and acceptance of
supplies is at Installation/Repair Site. Loading Dock 1. Services shall
be accepted by the Contracting Officer Representative Clint Cleveland
202- 416-7956. All items must be shipped FOB destination. The provision
at 52.212.1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial and 52.212.-2,
Evaluation-Commercial Items aplies to this acquisition. The specific
evaluation criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of provision

all payment. STATEMENT OF WORK: The contractor shall provide all
materials, labor and supervision necessary to perform carpet repair,
extraction of old carpeting and padding for the premises, and
installation of new carpeting and padding, in designated areas at the
John F Kenedy Center for the Performing Arts, as authorzied by the
