R -- MODIFICATION TO TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CONTRACT OJP-95-C-004 POC Raymond C. German, Contracting Officer, 202.307.0613 The Office of Justice Programs (OJP) intends to modify on a sole source basis Contract OJP-95-C-004 entitled "Technical Assistance to the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP)," an office within OJP. The contract is for assisting OJJDP with improving detention practices, policies, facilities, alternative services, and other issues concerning the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974, at the State and local levels. The modification will extend the expiration date of the contract from June 30, 1998, through February 28, 1999. During the extended period, the Contractor will (1) continue performance of existing technical assistance projects and (2) perform additional technical assistance requirements that will be requested by States and localities during the extended period. Also, during the extended period, OJP will recompete for a follow-on technical assistance contract to OJJDP. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Any other firm desiring consideration must submit documentation which demonstrates its technical capability to perform this requirement. See Note 22. (0107)
