Work includes replacing an existing air handling unit (the unit is a multi-zone air handling unit with 5 zones); replacing all existing steel chill water and drain line piping and insulation on the 43 ton chill water system; install new 3-speed, on/off switches, 4 ea, to replace the existing fan coil switches; test, adjust, and balance the cooling air and chill water distribution systems. All work shall be completed within 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Onsite construction shall be done in November and December 1998 timeframe. This solicitation is issued under and the resulting contract awarded under the Small business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (PL 100-656).
