The training module will include developing a student manual and a facilitator's manual. The manuals may include, but not be limited to the following topics: Overview/Historical Perspective on Medical Waster Regulations, Management of Medical Waste at the Point of Generation, Treatment Technologies, Incineration, Transport of Regulated Medical Waste, Waste Minimization/Alternative Reuse, Compliance and Enforcement Program, and Information Resources.
