The Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA)/Information Systems Office (ISO) is in the process of preparing a management strategy. SPAWAR System Center, SD (SSC-SD) has been directed to investigate various information technologies and products planned in the development stage of the commercial sector. The results of the investigation shall be used as inputs to an overall strategy used by DARPA/ISO to determine which critical technologies they should be an integrator rather than the leading developer. The scope of this effort is to research, investigate, and analyze, beyond current published information, critical information technologies and products being planned in private industry. This requirement requires a Secret clearance. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on technically acceptable low bids.
