The U.S. Information Agency's International Bureau of Broadcasting requires a Contractor to fabricate, build, ship and deliver two (2) 100 kW Mediumwave (AM) broadcast transmitters to Greece. Each package shall consist of a transmitter, exciter, main/alternate coaxial switch, dummy load, and controller. The Contractor shall also provide spare parts, technical assistance, in country training, and maintenance manuals. Interested offerors must meet performance specifications, offer a field-proven product, and demonstrate experience in successful on-time delivery of similar products. The broadcast equipment shall conform to the appropriate European Union Directives for electrical equipment and electromagnetic compatibility. The Government expects to award a contract resulting from the forthcoming RFP to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the RFP will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
