The contractor shall furnish the facility and all personnel, management, transportation, material, supplies, and equipment to prepare DFAS-Denver mail for eventual delivery. 2. DFAS-Denver will release its mail to the contractor for presorting and barcoding prior to its disposition to the USPS. The contractor will presort and barcode the domestic mail originating at DFAS-DE. 3. The contractor will be required to perform one or more of the following tasks according to USPS requirements: pickup, transport, CASS/MASS, certify mail, apply Delivery Point Barcode, mark, combine, presort, commingle, package, tray, sleeve, band, ACT tag metered and permit imprint mail, label packages and postal containers, generate postal documentation, maximize destination entry discounts, and perform move updates for both metered and permit imprint mail to achieve the finest depth of sortation and greatest postal discounts possible. 4. The mail may be presented to the contractor in various manners including, but not limited to, the following: Zip sequenced, non-Zip sequenced, barcoded, non pre-barcoded, upgradable, metered, permit imprinted, hand/type written, computer-generated, labeled or window-envelope addressed. The contractor will be responsible for providing DFAS-DE with all the necessary documentation, and for meeting all required USPS regulations at the time of mailing, as specified in the statement of work.
