Davy, Regional Contract Specialist The Federal Bureau of Prisons
intends to award a non personal service contract to the qualified
individual or business capable of providing quality radiology
technician services to the inmate population housed at the Federal
Correctional Institution, Petersburg, VA. Services include but are not
limited to: taking and processing all radiographic examinations,
making required entries in radiology log book, assuring all quality
assurance studies are performed, and cleaning processor on a regular
basis, to include changing chemicals. Requirements include but are not
limited to: stated licensed, certified radiologist. Contractor must
possess current state licensure or certification. Contractor must also
have at least one year of prior experience as a radiology technician.
There is an estimated 260 sessions, with a session being defined as
four hours. One sessions per day will be scheduled between the hours of
7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal
holidays. Schedule is negotiable and will be determined prior to
contract award. The contract period will include a base year, not to
exceed twelve months from date of award, with four one year option
periods. This is a non personal service not to exceed 30 hours per
week, and not a personnel appointment. The anticipated receipt of
quotations is June 10, 1998, with an anticipated effective award date
of July 1, 1998. This is 100% set aside for small business. Requests
