Wisdom, Purchasing Specialist via FAX 303.369.1207 DESC: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis for a travel management services contract. Pricing will be based on commission for all sales excluding federal excise tax. Bonding is required in the amount of $35,000. Travel arrangements include official travel, ie. transportation, lodging, automobile rental and other related services for USPS employees in the Western Area. Service area: NM, NV, AZ, OR, WA, AK, CO, WY, UT, ID, and MT. Requirements will include: emergency service, toll free 1-800 numbers, ARC/IATA accreditation, mgmt reports, data collection/reconciliation, refunds, experience in travel service to corporate or gov't accounts w/annual billings of $10 million, travel agents with min 2-yr travel experience whose training is from an accredited airline commercial reservation system source, use of major automated reservation system, all hardware necessary to conduct operations. A quality control system to continually monitor travel services is required including: 99% accuracy of confirmed reservations, 98% of tickets ready/delivered by requested date, 90% of incoming phone calls answered in 3 rings and on hold a max of 2 min, exception codes/lost savings annotated on invoices 100% of applicable cases, survey 40% of travelers quarterly, 98% hotel/car rentals using gov't or lowest rates, 98% of refunds/adjustments processed in 5 days, 98% of reservations quoted to be lowest possible fare. Initial contract term of 2 yrs with up to 4 2-yr renewal periods. The sole purpose of this synopsis is to identify prospective SOURCES. It does not commit the USPS to make an award.
