flush toilet unit, mark_nesvig@nps.gov. 1. The proposed contract is
100% set aside for small business concerns. 2. Olympic National Park
intends to purchase from CXT Inc., Precast Products Division a concrete
precast flush toilet facility -- Model "Big Bear" described as follows.
The standard "Big Bear" Toilet is a precast concrete flush comfort
station with individual men's and women's rooms with a utility chase
3'-8" wide between the two rooms. The building will be constructed of
steel reinforced and colored-through concrete with a barnwood texture
on the walls and a cedar shake texture on the roof. The building will
be designed & constructed to meet or exceed all federal & state
accessibility requirements. It will meet zone four seismic
requirements, 120 mph wind load & 250 pounds per square foot snowload.
Stamped drawings shall be submitted to the government prior to
fabrication. The building will be designed & fabricated to be vandal
resistant and carry a one year warranty against defects. The
prefabricated building will be preplumbed && prewired with the conduit
concealed. Surface conduit will be accepted only in the utility
corridor. The building shall be provided with a 100 amp breaker panel
in the utility corridor. The building will be equiped with sinks,
toilets, electric hand dryers, interior lights, circuit box, exterior
light at each door, toilet paper holders, grab bars & signage. The
doors will be 1 3/4" thick, 18 gauge steel. The lockset will meet ANSI
A156.2 Series 4000, Grade 1 cylindrical lockset with lever handle
inside & out. A oneway lock-out deadbolt lock will be installed above
the door lever with a Best lock core. The deadblolt & core will be
furnished by the government. The building shall be produced, shipped
and offloaded at the site [Quinault Ranger Station, Olympic National
Park] onto a site pre-prepared by the government. The building shall be
for use within 48 hours upon delivery to the site. The government will
make all necessary utility hookups to the prefabricated structure. The
government will award this contract to CXT, Precast Products Division
of Spokane Washington, 509 921 8766, not later than 5/15/98 unless
other offerors complying with or exceeding the above specifications are
received, submit a written offer to the government, not later than
5/15/98. The estimated cost of this acquisiton is less than $40,000.00.
