Morgan, Contracting Officer 703-358-1738 The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service currently leases approximately 2,080 square feet of office space at a facility located at 5430 Grosvenor Lane, Bethesda, Maryland, from the Renewable Natural Resources Foundation. The Division of Federal Aid houses it's reference library at this location. The materials maintained there are accessed by the scientific research community, and federal, state, and local government agencies as well as private individuals. The space is located within a fifteen minute walk of the METRO. Pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the Service intends to renegotiate a lease for the base year of July 1, 1998, through June 30, 1999, with an option to renew for four additional one year periods. Located in this space is movable shelving with rails in the floor. Factors to be considered by the Service to reloacte to another building in the same vicinity are (1) the tear down, moving and setting up of existing shelving; (2) repairs of currently rented space including reapirs to floors,removal of rails and recarpeting; (3) moving costs for 5 people.
