Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) has a requirement for an Anti-Personnel
Obstacle Breaching System (APOBS). APOBS is a two-man, backpacked
system which can breach footpaths through anti-personnel land mines and
wire obstacles. The government intends to release the APOBS Request for
Proposal (RFP) via the internet only. Hard copies of the RFP are not
available. Release of the final RFP is anticipated around 15 APR 1998.
