Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank or the Bank), has
an urgent requirement to acquire data modeling support in effort to
develop and design a model and data information system that will
partner and provide a road map for the existing financial systems of
the Bank. The required services will be provided through the use of one
analyst working together with FTEs as a team to design, develop, and
convert programming language code to produce a data model of the
selected legacy systems. The contractor will work in a teaming
arrangement with Ex-Im Bank staff to accomplish the types of services
as follows: interviewing and surveying appropriate staff; utilize
information engineering software to business analysis models of the
financial application systems at the Ex-Im Bank; identify/recommend
user-specific modifications to regenerate error-free application code;
determine and review data definitions/data dictionary, and build a
logical business model (data and process) to identify data redundancy.
The contractor will review systems for: consistent placement of
similar data; a standard menu throughout all modules; size and
placement of fields; data entry methodology; window migration
techniques, and security features. The Standard Industrial Code
contemplated for this effort is 7379. This solicitation is restricted
