C -- ARCHITECT-ENGINEERING SERVICES SOL F3260598R0019 DUE 050798 POC Sherry Scheer (701)747-5305 Design and construction inspection of miscellaneous operations maintenance projects and supporting services at Grand Forks AFB to include 165 remote missile facilities and Cavalier AFS, ND. A maximum of four contracts may be issued. Two for Complete Architectural and Engineering disciplines, one for Mechanical/Electrical disciplines, and one for Civil/Structural disciplines. Each open-end contract will be issued for a period of one year, with option to extend one year. Projects will be issued to contractor by delivery orders and each order will not exceed $299,000. Cumulative amount of all delivery orders will not exceed $750,000 per year for each contract. Delivery orders will be issued from time to time as the need arises during the contract period. Design and construction inspection services required will be in conjunction with minor alteration, remodeling and maintenance type projects, including preparation of drawings and specifications. Various types of A-E services such as investigation, inspection, studies, reports and cost estimates may also be required as relates to project design. Projects could include various combinations of disciplines to include but not limited to architectural, landscape architect, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, environmental and fire protection expertise. A minimum of $5,000 in fee work will be issued under the contract. Firm fixed price A-E contract (indefinite delivery contract) will be used. Significant evaluation factors in the order of relative importance are as follows: 1. Specialized experience and personnel qualifications in the areas of disciplines identified above; 2. Capacity to accomplish work in the required time; 3. Past experience with respect to performance on DOD contracts; 4. Qualifications and experience of subcontractors; 5. Location in geographical area of consideration, which is Grand Forks AFB, ND and vicinity providing a sufficient number of qualified firms to respond therein; 6. Volume of work previously awarded by this office and otherDOD agencies. Firms desiring consideration shall submit both SF 254 and SF 255. SF 254 and SF 255 are also required for consultants or joint firms. The firm should indicate if they utilize computer aided-design/drafting software. This is not a request for proposal.
