synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information
included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only quote;
quotations are being requested and a written quote will not be issued.
Quote number DAKF57-98-Q-0125 applies and is issued as a Request for
Quotation. The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are
those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-03. This
procurement is issued as 100 percent set-aside for small business (SB)
concerns. If adequate response is not received for SB concerns, the
quote will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore,
replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well
as from SB concerns. Concern means any business entity organized for
profit with a place of business located in the United States,
including, but not limited to an individual, partnership, corporation,
joint venture, association, or cooperative. This is an "all or none"
quote; no partial responses will be accepted. The size standard for any
concern including its affiliates shall not be in excess of 500
employees. SIC COde: 2655. 30 each Tactical Field Maintenance
containment berms, constructed of NESU 3284 Desert Tan fabric 8'x10'x4"
with 2"x4" rigid foam wall, encapsulated with 10'x15' x 8oz geotextile
fabric, has 3/4" bulkhead fitting in one corner, with plug. Submit
proposal to include drawing, sample of proposed fabric, past
performance information as an evaluation criteria for award is equal to
price. All responses to the quote must be in writing or fax response to
(253) 967-8137; telephonic responses will not be accepted. The F.O.B.
delivery address is Building 9630, Fort Lewis, Washington. Provision

acquisition. Award will be made on SF1449. Completed copies of the
