This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation is a Request for Quotes, #FS WOC 98-207. SIC code is 3523; small business size standard is 500 employees or less. Line Item #01 = Single-Section Heavy Brush Cutter, 8' with a minimum of 12 welded-on blades. Blades shall be a minimum of 1" x 10" x 8' and made of Astralloy V or equal. Brush cutter shall weigh a minimum of 24,000 pounds when filled. Required delivery date is June 1, 1998. Deliver to Kisatchie Ranger District; LA Highway 117; Bellwood, LA. Delivery is FOB destination. Descriptive literature is encouraged.
