The synopsis is amended as follows: This solicitation is no longer an unrestricted acquisition, it is now a 100% small business set-aside. Only requests for this solicitation from small businesses will be honored. The Solicitation Release date for this project will be approximately 6 April 1998. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after the actual release date. All other information remains the same. CATERED MEAL SERVICE, SOLICITATION DAHA36-98-R-0002, Performed for the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, Point of Contact -- Contracting Officer CW3 Richard W. Boger at (717) 861-8687 or Contract Specialist Michael G. Koontz at (717) 861-8643. The successful contractor will provide catered meal service for three dining facilities located at Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, Pennsylvania. The Government anticipates awarding a requirements contract, to satisfy the feeding requirements of the 3rd Battalion 166th Regiment (NCOA), Headquarters 166th Regiment, and Eastern ARNG Aviation Training Site (EAATS). Contractor will be notified of requirements through a monthly delivery order. The Government will provide the facilities and equipment. The contractor will provide all labor, subsistence, transportation, paper products, and cleaning supplies. The contract will be priced on a per meal basis (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) using various menus provided by the Government. Meals are required Sunday through Saturday including some Holidays although the facilities may not be required to be open during certain portions of the year. The total meals served at all facilities may exceed 1500 per day. Occasional field feeding is required. The contractor will be responsible to manage the facilities, order adequate food and supplies, prepare and serve food, clean kitchen and dining areas and perform preventive maintenance as required. Contractor will feed all authorized personnel with a meal card who enter the facilities. In addition, the contractor may serve meals to other authorized personnel who enter the facilities without meal cards and retain all proceeds from the additional meals served providing that there is adequate subsistence and space availability to feed said additional meals without adversely affecting the serving of meals to personnel with meal cards. Contractor will comply with all other terms and conditions as outlined in the specifications/statement of work. Resultant contract will be for a base year and three (3) option years. Only written requests for this solicitation will be honored. All requests for this solicitation MUST INCLUDE the following: company name, mailing address and billing address (if different from mailing address), responsible point of contact, telephone and facsimile number, federal tax identification number, business size, type of ownership (corp. etc.) and whether your business is woman owned or disadvantaged. This is an unrestricted acquisition all responsible sources may submit a proposal from this solicitation. The Standard Industrial Classification for this solicitation is 5812 and the business size standard is $15 million average gross annual receipts over the last three years.
