58 -- E-3 AWACS SURVEILLANCE RADAR POWER SUPPLY & AVIONICS REPAIR POC Tom Robertson, 912-926-6726 This is NOT a presolicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5, but is a MARKET SURVEY to identify sources with the capability to provide depot level repair of High & Low Voltage Power Supplies and other analog & digital avionics items applicable to the E-3 AWACS Surveillance Radar Avionics. The power supplies range in voltage and current from 3000V @ 2A for High Voltage/High Power to 5V @ 3A for Low Voltage Power Supplies. The weight of the power supplies range from 20 lbs. to 600 lbs. The other avionics equipment includes but is not limited to relays, regulators, control units, inverters, etc. which are analog/digital assemblies used for controlling Surveillance Radar Antenna voltage/phase/current. This survey is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources & items pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any cost incurred for their participation in this survey. The extent of foreign participation or level of security clearance required to receive a solicitation has not yet been determined.
