S -- NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH THE STATE OF ALASKA/DEPT. OF FISH & GAME (ADF&G). Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with the State of Alaska/Dept. of Fish & Game (ADF&G). Purpose of contract is to collect survey data on abundance and size composition data from finfish species in the central and western Gulf of Alaska (GOA). Data will be obtained on approximately 400 fish hauls caught from Cape Douglas to the eastern Aleutian Islands. The ADF&G has similar research mission to the NMFS and is conducting its own research collection efforts on other species of fishes.
