HQ Electronic Systems Center (ESC) International Program (IA) Directorate intends to award a sole-source contract modification to Lockheed Martin Tactical Defense Systems (LMTDS), P.O. Box 64526, St. Paul, MN 55164-0525, POC: Mr. Gus Granger (612)456-2527. This contract modification is for the Air Sovereignty Operations Center (ASOC) Program requirement to add firm fixed price option CLINs/SubCLINs for an additional four (4) Eastern European sites. This shall be accomplished via a contract modification to the existing ASOC contract F19628-97-C-0070 pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The ASOC program is an FMS action that provides Eastern European countries with the capability of displaying a nationwide air picture composed of digital data from air traffic control and air sovereignty radars, flight plan information, aircraft identification, provides capability of oversight of Air Traffic Control and air sovereignty operations and automated regional exchange of air picture information. Existing communications links will be used for all telephone, radar data flow, flight plan information and track data required at the ASOC. LMTDS was the award winner via formal source selection for the basic ASOC program awarded in May of 1997. The basic award was for a total of eight (8) sites. This contract modification will increase the total ASOC sites to twelve (12). Anticipated award date is 1 June 1998.
