F -- ELECTRIC POWER TRANSMISSION LINE CLEARING SERVICES FOR THE SNETTISHAM HYDROELECTRIC PROJECT SOL DE-RQ65-98WA14729 DUE 042298 POC Jon Olsen, Contracting Officer, (303) 275-1522 This solicitation is to contract for services to clear all trees and brush within the right-of-way under the Alaska Power Administration's transmission line in the following areas: Section 1, approximately 2.2 miles from structure 40/2 to 42/4, Section 2, approximately 0.6 miles from structure 8/2 to 8/4, Section 3, approximately 0.9 miles from structure 25/1 to 26/1, and Section 4, approximately 0.4 miles at Snettisham Camp, 13.8 KVW Distribution Line. Work also includes clearing individual danger trees near towers 11/2, 13/1, 13/3, and 14/2. The period of performance is from date of award through July 15, 1998. All requests for the solicitation document shall be in writing. The contracted services are considered commercial services and this acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13. See numbered Note 1.
