Air Systems Command intends to procure training systems support
services to provide specialized project management, technical,
educational, and analyst expertise to the Aviation Training Systems
Program Office (PMA-205) within Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR).
These Contractor Support Services (CSS) will support the PMA 205
Program Office, assess program status, performance and design progress,
and develop project documentation. CSS will also be required to
participate in the assessment of training systems technological
developments which may further enhance the fidelity and realism of the
state-of-the-art flight simulators, operator and maintenance trainers,
interactive courseware, computer based training, course curriculum,
manpower personnel/training analysis, training implementation and
training effectiveness evaluation. The solicitation will contain a base
year plus four option years averaging approximately 126,000 hours per
year. Multiple awards and oral proposals are anticipated. Dueto the
nature of the Government's requirement, the contractor must maintain
facilities that are located within thirty-five (35) miles of the main
gate of the Naval Air Station, located in Patuxent River, Maryland and
be located within the counties of St. Mary's, Calvert, or Charles. To
be considered for award, contractor must have a Secret security
facilities clearance. This requirement is offered under full and open
competition. The SIC code for this requirement is 8711. The Navy
intends to release the Request for Proposal (RFP) via the Internet.

aforementioned addresses will not be recognized. The solicitation will
be made available only over the Internet in Word 6.0 format and will

Hard copies will NOT be available for pickup or mailing. The WWW server
may be accessed using client browsers such as MOSAIC or NETSCAPE.
