F -- MARBLE MURRELET SURVEYS, OLYMPIC PENNISULA, MASON, JEFFERSON & SAN JUAN COUNTIES, WA, OLYMPIA FORESTRY SCIENCES LAB SOL RFQ R6-MBS-8-27-O POC Contact Point, Janet Hada, 425/744-3330 This project consists of but is not limited to conducting concurrent audio-visual surveys and radar surveys for marbled murrelet for up to 10 sites on the Olympic Pennisula during May thru July 1998. A mobile radar lab with a range of at least 5km is needed to reach remote survey locations. The audio-visual observer(s) must have current certification for murrelet inland surveys or the ability to receive certification prior to the first sampling date. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about April 13, 1998. Estimated start work date is on or about May 12, 1998. A total of 45 sampling days needs to be provided.
