Contracting Officer, 256-955-0260 This acquisition is for the upgrade
fo the Army's Aircraft Survivability Equipment Trainer (ASET IV) and
the Unmanned Threat Emitter (UMTE) in support of the Threat Simulator
Management Office. The effort consists of the fabrication test,
delivery, and integration fo the following components for ASET IV: 16
each Infrared Surface to Air Missile (IRSAM) Transmitter; 16 each
Anti-Aircraft Artillery (AAA) Transmitter; 8 each Radio-Frequency
Surface to Air Missile (RFSAM) Transmitter; and 1 each Flexible Threat
Emitter (FTE). The Statement of Wos for the fabrication, test,
delivery, and integration fo the following components for UMTE: 9 each
Operator Control Console (OCC); 9 each Remote Power Unit (RPU); 9 each
Advanced AAA Remote Emitter; and 9 each Advanced RFSAM Remote Emitter.
The contractor will be required to have a SECRET facility clearance
and safeguarding capability to perform on the effort. Period
performance is 60 months. The Proposed acquisition is a sole source
procurement to Sierra Technologies, Inc., 485 Cayuga Road, Buffalo, NY
14225. Sierra as the primary developer and producer of the SAET IV and
teh UMTE is the only contractor that has the specialized knowledge,
knowledge, background, expertise, facilities, and databases necessary
to accomplish the work in a cost-effective and timely manner. This
synopsis is for the purpose of advertising possible subcontracting
