W -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT TO PROVIDE ELEVATING SCRAPERS WITH OPERATORS FOR WETLANDS RESTORATION PROJECTS ON THE SACRAMENTO NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE COMPLEX, WILLOWS, CALIFORNIA SOL FWS1-98-037(LFG) DUE 052098 POC Contact: Procurement Technician, Sandy Stevens, (503) 230-5905, Contracting Officer, Lola F. Gannon, (503) 231-6188- Request for Proposals for a requirements contract from date of award to September 30, l998, with two one year options. The contract will be on an as needed basis for rental of elevating scrapers, with operators, in the state of California for maintenance, rehabilitation and/or construction of water delivery systems, dikes, nd related work on the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge Complex, (Butte Sink NWR, Colusa NWR, Delevan NWR, Sacramento NWR, Sacramento River NWR, and Sutter NWR, California). The total annual work under the contract will not exceed $295,000. Individual work orders will not exceed $98,000.00 Work will be directed by work orders as needed. This does not obligate the Government to provide a guaranteed amount of work nor should it be considered as a guarantee of any level of work to be provided. Proposals will be evaluated by a selection committee of U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service personnel based upon the following primary criteria in order of importance; (1) Adequacy of the equipment to perform the work (2) Hourly rental rate, (3) Mobilization/demobilization, and (4) Minimum time rquired to mobilize.The approximate issue date is April 20, l998. The issue date is an estimate only and the actual bid due date will be 30 days after the actual issue date. (0084)
