This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12-6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This notice constitutes the only Request for Proposal. A written request for proposal will not be issued. The request for proposal document and contract incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-44. The SIC code is 3861 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Television-Audio Support Agency intends to buy 1 each Main System Chassis: 1000 525-Frames/835 625-Frames Storage Basic chassis with node CPU, network communication interfaces, On-Air Panel (OAP), 1GB System Hard Drive and 100 Megabyte Iomega Zip drive, 1 each BS-3 VideoNet Transfer Card which provides serial digital connections to a network's ITU-R/BT.601-4 serial digital video router or to Extended Control Panels. Enables real-time background transfer of stills & clips between nodes, independent of the normal channel I/Os. Required for each node on an Axess network, and 1 each BS-2 Video Dual-Channel I/O Card, which provides two digital video channels with ITU-R/BT.601.4 serial digital video inputs & outputs. Second channel can be used for video or key. The items are to be delivered to AFRTS/BC, 1363 Z Street Bldg 2730, March ARB, CA 92518-2017. Warranty is for 1 year parts and labor. Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, and Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
