This announment constitutes the only solicicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 17(ii)Solicitation number is DAKF29-98-B-0021 and is issued as a Invitation Bid (IFB). 17(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect throught Federal Acquisition Circular 97-03. 17(iv)This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 5812 and Small Business Size Standard is $5,000,000.00. 17(v) (vi) (vii)The Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS) are 0001 On Site Kitchen Facility capable of feeding 70-250 estimated personnel with catered meals (meals that are already prepared) for fourty-three (43) days, 5 May 1998- 16 June 1998. 0002 Provide rations, (food that is delivered unprepared) guarantee 12,500 meals. 0003 8 lbs of ice per soldier each day as needed. 17(viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items, with addenda: delete paragraphs (d), (e), (g), (h), and (i). The basis of award will be low, responsive, responsible bidder. Bidders are requested to submit bids which shall include the unit price and total amount for each CLIN listed above. 17(x) Bidders shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items,s and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certification- Commercial Items, with bids. 17(xi) The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition with addenda: paragraphs (h), (n), (o) and (p) of this provision do not apply.
