COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MARCH 30,1998 PSA#2062REQUEST FOR INFORMATION The United States Air Force is conducting a
market survey for planning purposes, to obtain information in support
of a potential procurement for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
Services. A meeting is scheduled for 15 Apr 98, 9:00 a.m., at Bolling
Air Force Base, Washington D. C. for any interested private sector
concerns for the purpose of exchanging information with Government
representatives regarding industry capabilities, contract type,
proposed work statements, acquisition approaches, delivery, price and
other market information. Tentatively, the objectives of this potential
procurement are as follows: 1) ADR Services, including, but not limited
to, a) Management and administrative support services for the mediation
and training functions in accordance with Air Force and industry
publications/standards; b) Mediation services in accordance with Air
Force guidance to include routine and urgent mediation sessions; c)
Mediation Mentor services which provides mediation apprenticeship
training; d) Third Party Neutral Services in ADR processes and
procedures in a variety of areas; e) ADR training to base, installation
or facility level personnel, both military and civilian, management and
non-management personnel; and, 2) Program Support services, including,
but not limited to a) logistical support for conferences, seminars and
workshops; b) conduct and/or participate in conferences, seminars,
workshops and commanders' briefings; c) marketing products such as a
newsletter and website; d) consultative services. The government does
not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notification or
otherwise pay for any information or inquiry. Descriptive literature
providing the company's history, capabilities, and a list of examples
demonstrating the type of subject matter areas or market competence
should be provided and shall be at no cost to the government. Please be
prepared to provide a paper copy of your company's briefing for further
Government review. Ensure any restrictive markings are included in the
documentation, if necessary. A copy of the draft Information may be
