AVIONICS BRIEFING TO INDUSTRY -- JUNE 17-18, 1998 The Army and Navy along with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) will be holding a Briefing to Industry (BTI) on the Army and Navy's avionics requirements, technology thrusts and acquisition programs. DARPA will be discussing their avionics-related technology programs as well. This year's briefing will feature a panel discussion on the topic What more can be done to foster a "partnership" between Industry and Government in meeting the services' avionics needs. Panel members will consist of members from the Department of Defense and Industry. This BTI will be held in conjunction with the Joint Avionics, Weapons and Systems Support Software and Simulation Symposium (JAWS S3). The briefing will take place at the Riviera Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada, on 17 and 18 June. JAWS S3 will take place from 15-19 June.
