D -- SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE DUE 033198 POC Darlene Cutler (618)229-9697 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Procurement Branch (DTS42) intends to issue a sole source contract to Software and Management Associates (SMA), 15600 JFK Blvd., Suite 710, Houston, Texas 77032, for the acquisition of software maintenance renewal for the following proprietary product: THE SCHEDULER software system. Software installed on UNISYS 2200 series equipment, in support to the DISA System Support Office in Montgomery, Alabama for 57 copies running at various sites. The period of performance for software maintenance is 1 Apr 98 through 31 Mar 99. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance must indicate their interest by 31 Mar 98. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals.
