Work includes removing existing facilities, excavation, paving, installing new tables, firerings, hardened areas, precast toilets, stairs, signs, and landscaping. This project is located on the Pike/San Isabel National Forests, Salida Ranger District, Chaffee County, Colorado, approximately 25 miles northwest of Salida. Travel south from Buena Vista on Hwy 285 for 8 miles, then travel west on Road #162 for 8 miles to project site. Price range is between S100,000 and S250,000. Contract time is 300 calendar days.
