COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MARCH 25,1998 PSA#2059NOVEL LOW LOSS CERAMIC FERROELECTRIC MATERIALS The U.S. Army Research
Laboratory announces the development of several novel low loss ceramic
ferroelectric materials for the purpose of commericalization by the
private sector. These materials have applications in phased array
antennas, varistor-capacitor devices, varactors, multielement
phaseshifters, ceramic RF filters and a variety of other electronic
devices. It is estimated that these materials can be produced at 1/25
the cost of ferrite phase shifters, while maintaining nearly identical
performance characteristics. Specific information concerning patents,
