The Environmental Protection Agency's Document Production, Recycling, and Mail Management Branch team has a requirement for year 2K compliant "off the shelf" print job production tracking software. The software must include an in-house printing module and an outside procurement module. It must be windows-based and designed for Government printing operations. The software will be required to track individual jobs from multiple sources of printing procurement, EPA in-house printing plant, Government Print Office (GPO) contracts, and GPO procurement sources. The software will also be required to automatically update supply inventories as jobs are produced and to calculate and print required reports such as the EPA's annual report to the Joint Committee on Printing. The vendor will be required to deliver and install a complete system including software and manuals. It is anticipated that this procurement will be accomplished on a sole source basis.
