Ware, 618-229-9590 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Procurement Branch (DTS42) intends to issue a sole source contract to NCR Corporation, 2 Choke Cherry Drive, Rockville, MD 20850, for the acquisition of software maintenance for proprietary Comten software products. This software product is currently installed on equipment located at the DMC Chambersburg. Period of performance for the maintenance is 1 Apr 98 through 31 Mar 99. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance must indicate their interest within 7 days of this announcement. Any party interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-2229-9592 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals.
