Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP), Phila. anticipates award of a
Logistics Engineering Change Proposal (LECP) to Gear Systems Inc.,Park
City, Utah (Cage:82402). This LECP, via the associated Statement Of
Work (SOW), defines the requirements for the design, development,
fabrication, documentation, test, and delivery of an improved F/A-18
A/B/C/D Airframe Mounted Accessory Drive (AMAD). The current design
AMAD has experienced a low reliability in service due to internal metal
wear contamination and bearing failures. The unit being designed under
this SOW should address these service problems with design
improvements. Contractor shall provide the personnel, materials, and
facilities necessary to accomplish the tasks defined in the SOW. Copy
