C -- OPEN END ARCHITECT-ENGINEER SERVICES SOL DAHA04-98-R-0002 DUE 042398 POC Mrs. Carol Roulis, Tel: (805) 594-6216 Open-End Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity contract for architectural/engineering services (Type A, B or C Services) for design projects at the following Air National Guard Stations. The sites are as follows: North Highlands, Hayward, Sepulveda, San Diego, Costa Mesa, March ARB, Mt. Disappointment and Moffett ANGB. The A/E will receive a minimum of $5,000.00 in design fees. No delivery order will be less than $5,000. and no order will exceed $150,000.00. Total fees paid under the resultant contract will not exceed $750,000.00 annually. Services may be ordered for a period of one year after contract award with an option to extend services for an additional year. Work will include the preparation of plans, specifications and cost estimates and backup disk (AUTOCAD) for each project. Projects may include repair, maintenance, alteration and construction of pavement, roofing, structural alterations of buildings (industrial and office buildings), rehabilitation of facilities, building additions, HVAC systems, utility systems, including electrical, gas and water, repair/replacement of heating and air conditioning, master planning and various surveys, etc. Evaluation and selection of the firm will be based on the following selection criteria: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services, (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required, including, where appropriate, experience in energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction and use o f recovered materials; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in required time; (4) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project ; (6) The volume of work previously awarded the firm by DOD during the past 12 months.
