The Air Force Flight Test Center has a requirement for the fabrication of pipe spools for a test stand at the Air Force Research Laboratory, Edwards AFB, CA. Projected requirement is approximately 125 linear feet of pipe, with approximately 50 linear feet of liquid nitrogen jacketing. Pipe spools shall be fabricated from pipe sizes ranging from 6" to 12" in diameter. Pipe wall size ranges from schedule 5 to schedule XX strong, including some special heavy wall thicknesses. Pipe material will be ASTM A312 TP304, ASTM A312 TP316. Pipe spools may contain elbows flanges, couplings, reducers, tees, elbows, strainers, and pulled bends. All piping shall be fabricated in accordance with ASME B31.3 standards. All pipes that are identified to be subjected to 3,000 PSI or greater will require 100% radiograph of all welds. The pipe spools will be fabricated, inspected, cleaned internally and packaged for shipment to Edwards AFB, CA. Interested contractors must be able to demonstrate technical experience in the fabrication process. This procurement is very rigid as to material specifications and drawing compliance. The contractor shall be subject to on-site inspection by Government representatives prior to contract award and after contract award during production. The required delivery dates for the various pipe spools range from 120 and 150 days ARO. This requirement is a 100% Small Business set aside. SIC Code is 3498. Size standard is 500 employees.
