is a combination synopsis/solicitation, prepared in accordance with
Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6 for commercial items as
supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This
announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being
requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This
solicitation is issued as unrestricted Request for Proposal (RFP) using
solicitation number F0561198T0922. No request for proposal package will
be issued. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in
provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. This
solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those
in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-03. The Standard
Industrial Classification Number is 3571 and the Business Size Standard
is 1000 employees. ANIMATION WORKSTATION. ITEM NO 0001: The animation
workstation consist of: (qty 1) SGI model WT5-2P-175S14, Octane
workstation (with dual (2) R10K 175 Mhz processors), 4GB disk, 20"
Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard, 1RIX 6.2 and IRIX 6.5 upgrade, (qty 2)
additional 128MB Memory (5 year warranty) (384 MB system total), (qty
1) Archive 4mm DAT2 Tape Drive, Internal for SGI, (qty 1) Toshiba 12X
CDROM, external for SGI with Ultra SCSI cable, (qty 1) Seagate
Barracuda 9GB Disk, formulated for SGI, Internal Mount, (qty 1) Alias
/Wavefront MAYA Base, Alias/Wavefront MAYA Power Modeling and MAYA FX,
(qty 1) Adobe photo shop for SGI, 1 year software maintenance on all
software, 1 year warranty on all hardware, SGI, System Integration
support (telephone) to include loading and testing of all software and
1 day of Alias Power Animator training for up to 4 people at the USAF
Academy. TOTAL PRICE . Delivery will be FOB Destination, Monday
through Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Delivery no later than 30 days ARO.

Academy, CO. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (OCT 1995). The
Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to
the responsible offeror conforming to the solicitation that will be
most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors
considered. The following factors are of equal importance: technical
acceptability, past performance and price. "Technical acceptability"
the offeror shall propose the requirement as stated in the synopsis.
Price shall be evaluated to determine fairness, reasonableness, and
completeness of the lowest price. Past performance will be evaluated on
responsiveness. Offers shall include a completed copy of the provision
at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial
Items, with it's offer. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and
Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. the clause
52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes
or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.

technology items must be year 2000 compliant. Year 2000 compliant mean
items information technology that accurately processes dates/time data
(including, but not limited to, calculating, comparing, and sequencing)
from, into, and between the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, and
the years 1999 and 2000 and leap year calculation. Furthermore, year
2000 compliant information technology, shall accurately process
date/time data it the other information technology properly exchanges
date/time data with it. Offers will be received at Operational
