AMENDMENT #2 Experience Data and References applications must be completed and submitted with your bid/offer on or before April 1, 1998 by 2:00 p.m. (Previous requestors need not request applications, they're being mailed to you). The contract shall be awarded based upon low bid/offer and satisfactory verification of experience and references. You must quote a price for the intial six (6) month period as well as for the option periods in order to be considered for award. PRICING FOR OPTIONS Offerors shall price the option requirements for the three (3) additional six (6) month periods by assuming that the minimum hourly wages and fringe benefits established by the Administrator, Wage and Hour Division, U.S. Department of Labor, for the initial six (6) month period of performance will apply to the three (3) additional optional six (6) month periods. The minimum wage rates and fringe benefits applicable to the intial six (6) month period of performance are outlined on Wage Determination No. 94-2247 (Rev.5). In the event the option(s) is/are exercised by the Government, the contract price(s) will be adjusted upward or downward at the time the option is exercised in accordance with the clause entitled FAR 52.222-43 Fair Labor Standards Act and Service Act-Price Adjustment. Offerors are cautioned that any bid/offer may be rejected as non-responsive if it is materially unbalanced as to prices for the options and the initial contract price. A bid/offer is unbalanced when it is based on prices which are significantly less than cost for some work and prices which are significantly overstated for other work.
