Johnson (801) 595-2312 PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The Project consists of the new construction of a Vehicle washing facility, located at the Utah Air National Guard Base, Salt Lake City International Airport, Utah. The Project consists of a building with reinforced concrete foundation and floor, structural masonry walls, steel roof joists and metal deck with single-ply roofing membrane. Also included are the utilities, pavements, site improvements and equipment. Estimated magnitude is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. In accordance with the Competition Demonstration Act for Construction, this project is to be bid as a small business set-aside with consideration given to small disadvantaged businesses. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1542. The size standard is $17 Million. The performance period is 300 calendar days. Bid packages will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis to qualified prime contractors only until supply is exhausted. Solicitation documments are tentatively scheduled for April 13, 1998, at a cost of $25.00 (non-refundable) per set. The $25.00 is to accompany your written request and be in the form of a cashiers check, certified check, or money order payable to the "Treasurer of the United States".
